Director of Programs, Soccer Shots Harrisburg/York

Reports to: Director of Operations

It is the Director of Programs’ (DOP) responsibility to oversee Soccer Shots programming and to improve programming in the entire territory. DOP is responsible for:

Implementing the company’s high standard for program planning and organization through the entire territory.

Setting an example in the areas of personal character, commitment, communication and work habits.

Following established plans and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base.

Demonstrating excellent customer service and frequent and timely communication at all times.

The DOP works off seasonal and annual Action Plans (approved by Director of Operations) and is responsible for the following job functions:

Season Preparation

Season Promotions

Welcome Packets

Season Maintenance

Relationship Management

Communication

Cancellations

Special Events

Coaching/Covering Assignment: The DOP will be a outstanding coach and qualified coach trainer coaching an average of 8 sessions per season. Two to three working evenings are required during the season which could include coaching and/or management of coaching staff and programs. Saturday responsibilities are for approximately 20 per year and are shared with the Director of Coaching with duties including oversight of coaching and program execution.

Working Schedule: Between seasons (approximately 14 weeks of the year), expected working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. During this time, there may be events that may take place on a weekend or evening. These will be shared among the team and hours will be arranged to cover these.

Working Location:

Must work from the established office during working hours, unless approved to be working in the “field”. Must meet at least once/weekly with supervisor. At times, position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment.Driving is required for this position and candidate must have valid driver's license with clean driving history as required for use of company car.

Role/Classification:

The job description above is a full time position requiring approximately 40 hours of work per week. During busy seasons, it may be necessary to work additional hours to meet deadlines and goals.

For Soccer Shots Hbg/York to deliver an excellent customer experience every season.Based on consumer NPS survey, our goal is to earn an NPS score that ranks in the top 10% of the entire Soccer Shots system every season.

For Soccer Shots Hbg/York to achieve participation saturation that ranks in the top 10% of the entire Soccer Shots system at the end of every year.

Key Performance Measures:

Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors) and supervisor and other support staff within 24 hours.

Meets weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develops and follows systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with time.

Meets seasonal performance goals. Goes above and beyond expectations to promote and market our program prior to each season.

Provides excellent customer service by communicating to parents and center directors.

Adheres to all company policies and represents Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

Program Performance Evaluation and Reviews:

Key performance measures will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor.

Soccer Shots will perform an annual review in December of each calendar year.

Compensation: $44,000-$60,000 per year including bonus structure for up to 10% of salary; Compensation ranges and based on experience and performance.
