    Soccer Shots Harrisburg (SS HBG): Since 2001, SS HBG has operated Soccer Shots programs throughout central PA. SS HBG offers programs at over 100 total locations and serves 5,000 children and their families each year. Soccer Shots has been recognized as a Family Favorite Children's Program as well as the #1 Children's Fitness program in the U.S.

    Soccer Shots Premier: Designed for children age 5-8 in KDG-2nd grade, Soccer Shots Premier focuses on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through games and team interaction. Participants are introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

    Position: Premier Program Specialist (PPS)

    Reports to: Director of Operations

    Purpose of Position: To grow and oversee all Premier programming throughout the region with a focus on onsite (facility) programming.

    Premier Program Specialist Profile: An amazing coach; someone kids adore and parents admire. Has charisma, energy and intensity but is also caring, engaging and fun. Communicates professionally and promptly with parents both orally and in writing. Has leadership experience; is able to organize programs, manage other coaches, and oversee large events (60 kid camp). Seeks to create a best-in-class environment and remarkable experience for participants and their families. Is most passionate about coaching soccer and developing young athletes but also understands the business of Soccer Shots. Can integrate the vision. Can grow programming from infancy (100 kids) to maturity (2,000 kids).

    Premier Program Specialist Qualifications/Characteristics: High level playing experience (college/professional preferred). Has obtained or is pursuing National Youth coaching license(s) and a National Futsal coaching certification. Is a student of the game, continuously reading and learning from others in order to grow. Has demonstrated 3 years of successful experience in coaching. Demonstrates Soccer Shots characteristics such as: positive, fun, caring, inspirational, energetic and understands developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). Also delivers progressive player development best practices, enforces technical accountability, initiates tactical understanding (decision making – why, how, when) and incorporates character development and individual discipline throughout all coaching. Has unique ability to progress players in both their enjoyment of the game and their development as individuals and soccer players.

    It is the Premier Program Specialist’s (PPS) responsibility to oversee Soccer Shots Premier coaching and operations with a focus on onsite (facility) Premier programming. The PPS will:

    Implement the company’s high standard for coaching and leadership

    Set an example in the areas of personal character, commitment, communication and work habits

    Follow established plans and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base

    Demonstrate excellent customer service and frequent and timely communication at all times

    The PPS works off seasonal and annual plans (approved by Director of Operations) and is responsible for the following job functions:

    Master the Premier age group (coaching)

    Execute remarkable experiences for children and their families who participate in Soccer Shots onsite (facility)

    Maintain best-in-class soccer facilities (outdoor natural grass field and indoor futsal court)

    Provide guidance and training (via the Director of Coaching) to all Soccer Shots Premier coaches

    Collaborate with Program and Coaching Directors and ensure that onsite (facility) classes, camps, and events are full and adequately staffed

    Assist the Director of Business Development with USYS Member Club Partnerships

    Participate on Project Heartbeat Committee

    Assist with special events and other assignments, as needed

    Role/Classification: The job description above is a full time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week.

    Schedule: During program cycles (seasons), expected working hours will vary. The majority of school-year programming will occur after 4pm M-F and on Saturday. These will be on-field/court hours with additional office hours required as well. Summer programming includes day camp camps, as well as evening sessions. Between program cycles (seasons), expected working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, M-F. The PPS is responsible for managing his/her schedule with the approval of the supervisor.

    Working Location:

    Must work from the established office/facilities, located in Middletown, PA, during working hours. Must meet at least once/weekly with supervisor. At times, position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment.

    Objectives:

    For Soccer Shots to earn a reputation of excellence in Central PA. We are seeking to be an annual “Family Favorite” based on community voting in Central Penn Parent’s annual contest.

    For Soccer Shots to deliver an excellent customer experience every season.Based on consumer NPS survey, our goal is to earn an NPS score that ranks in the top 10% of the entire Soccer Shots system every season.

    For Soccer Shots to achieve participation saturation that ranks in the top 10% of the entire Soccer Shots system at the end of every year.

    To grow Soccer Shots Premier programming to 1,000 annual participants within 18 months.

    Key Performance Measures:

    Prompt, reliable, and professional communication. Responds immediately to coaches, customers, supervisor and other support staff within 24 hours.

    Meets weekly, seasonal, and annual deadlines. Develops and follows systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with time.

    Meets seasonal performance goals. Goes above and beyond expectations to develop a high-quality program and team of coaches every season.

    Adheres to all company policies and represents Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity.

    Program Performance Evaluation and Reviews:

    Key performance measures will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor

    Soccer Shots will perform an annual review in December of each calendar year
