Coaching Assistant Manager - Part-time Seasonal with Opportunities for AdvancementReports to: Executive Director

Seasonal Position starting as early as February and ending in late May. Flexible in a number of hours with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 28. Hours would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings 4-7.30pm and Saturday 8.30-12.30pmOpportunities for future positions & growth into year-round part-time or full-time positions.

It is the Assistant Coaching Manager's (ACM) responsibility to assist the Executive Director (ED) in all duties related to the operation of Soccer Shots and to help grow and improve the program in the entire territory. The ACM will work off seasonal and annual Action Plans, prepared by the Executive Director, and will be responsible for assisting with the following job functions:

Coaching & Coaching Leadership:*Coaching -- coaching schedule during seasons (9 weeks for spring) will make up 40-60% of the time. As a coach, one must be enthusiastic and must enjoy interacting with young children and able to connect with them on their level. -Serves as a role model to children, exemplifying Soccer Shots' core values and program philosophy.*Commitment to excellence, quality, and safety through participation in the game of soccer.*Effectively communicates with Soccer Shots leadership and team as well as center directors, teachers, and parents.*Assisting with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating, and managing coaches.*Assisting with maintaining master schedule; handling cancellations and reschedules, as needed.
