    Seasonal position: Summer Camp Head Coach

    Responsibilities include:

    -Organize and facilitate daily recreational activities for campers on a timed schedule (themed curriculum is provided).

    -Maintain safety and overall well-being of campers while in care.

    -Awareness of any noted concerns such as dietary restrictions or medical conditions of campers.

    -Provide effective communication to family members of the campers as well as fellow team members.

    -Maintain and submit program documents and records, such as attendance record, incident reports, sign in/out sheets, etc.

    Requirements:

    -Must be available Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm (July-August).

    -Training on afternoons and weekends beginning in May.

    -Must pass a DOJ/FBI Live Scan clearance background check.

    -1 year professional experience working with children ages 3-10.

    -CPR/First Aid certified.

    Pay rate:

    $20-22 per hour based on certifications and experience. (12 ECE units strongly preferred)

    $18-20 per hour for assisting and training shifts.

    Eligible for pay raise and promotion within the first 16 weeks of employment depending on hire date. We help all team members through the process of earning 12 credits in Early Childhood Education. Courses are 8 weeks long, asynchronous, and fully online. Team members receive a $2 raise. Ask your supervisor for more details if this interests you.

    Estimated 35-40 hours per week
