Summer Youth Soccer Assistants Needed for Children Ages 2-7

Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you not only enjoy working with children, but that you are incredibly passionate about it. This is what truly separates Soccer Shots from everyone else - we are in this to impact children in such a way that we leave a lasting impression on them that will give them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field.

Soccer Shots is looking for candidates willing to cover our weekend park programs located in Nassau County and western Suffolk County.

We are currently hiring for our Summer season, training will begin immediately.

Our coaches and assistant coaches serve as role models and mentors, embrace and exemplify our core values, and are able to solve problems. They are caring, patient, enthusiastic, reliable, love kids, physically active, and have knowledge of soccer.The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:

Must be at least 18 years of age;Knowledge of soccer is preferred but not required;Experience working with groups of children;Passion to work in a team environment and meet high expectations for youth and staff;Ability to take initiative while maintaining confidence, flexibility and enthusiasm;

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Soccer Shots classes require instructors to be physically fit and support an active lifestyle. The work environment during a typical class can be indoor or outdoor and the noise level is usually moderate to loud.In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.

Qualifications:

Have a desire to work with children, enthusiasm, patience, organization, maturity, dependability, and be responsible.

Be available at the times when sessions are held.

Have reliable transportation to and from sessions.

CompensationSummer Youth Soccer Assistants earn an hourly wage of $18/hour.
