    Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development for children ages 2-8. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.

    Job Description: The Program Coordinator will support the vision and growth of Soccer Shots by assisting with functions of the business and coaching soccer sessions.

    Objectives: It is the Program Coordinator responsibility to oversee Soccer Shots programming and to improve programming in the entire territory of Nassau and western Suffolk Counties. The Program Coordinator is responsible for:

    Implementing the company’s high standard for program planning and organization through the entire territory.

    Setting an example in the areas of personal character, commitment, communication and work habits.

    Following established plans and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base.

    Demonstrating excellent customer service and frequent and timely communication at all times.

    The Program Coordinator works off seasonal and annual Action Plans and is responsible for the following job functions:

    Schedule preparation and maintenance

    Season Preparation

    Season Promotions

    Welcome Packets

    Season Maintenance

    Relationship Management

    Communication

    Cancellations

    Special Events

    Inventory

    Coaching up to 15 classes a week

    Coaching Assignment:

    The Program Coordinator will also tend to subbing needs and special coaching needs (important accounts, etc.). Coaching assignments are assigned by the Director of Coaching and will change each season based on seasonal and team needs.

    Working Schedule: This is Saturday and Sunday position. Additional hours during the week can be discussed upon hiring. schedule:

    Sat: 7am-3pm | Sun: 7am-3pmWorking Location:

    Must work from the established office during working hours, unless approved to be working on the “field”. Must meet at least once/weekly with supervisor. Position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment. NO REMOTE WORKOther Requirements: • Ability to lift 40 pounds • Must be physically able to demonstrate soccer skills and movements during classes • Reliable transportation in order to travel to classes and partner sites all over Nassau and Western Suffolk Counties.

    Role/Classification:

    The job description above is a part-time, exempt position requiring approximately 16+ hours of work per week. During busy seasons, it may be necessary to work additional hours to meet deadlines and goals.
