    LI WEST:

    Soccer Shots Long Island West was established in 2010. Soccer Shots Long Island West stretches from Nassau County to Suffolk County. Soccer Shots Long Island West offices are located in Farmingdale NY and Syosset NY. We offer programs at nearly 90 locations, serves over 6,000 participants, and employs approximately 15 part-time coaches and 8 full-time employees.

    Objectives: It is the Program Coordinator (PC) responsibility to oversee Soccer Shots programming and to improve programming in the entire territory. PC is responsible for:

    Implementing the company’s high standard for program planning and organization through the entire territory.

    Setting an example in the areas of personal character, commitment, communication and work habits.

    Following established plans and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base.

    Demonstrating excellent customer service and frequent and timely communication at all times.

    The PC works off seasonal and annual Action Plans and is responsible for the following job functions:

    Season Preparation

    Season Promotions

    Welcome Packets

    Season Maintenance

    Relationship Management

    Communication

    Cancellations

    Special Events

    Compensations: Compensation for the Full-Time coaching position is $30,000 - $35,000 a year salary.

    Coaching/Covering Assignment:

    The PC will coach an average of 32 sessions a week per season. One weekend day is required each season, which will include coaching.

    The CP will also tend to occasional subbing needs and special coaching needs (important accounts, etc.). Coaching assignments are assigned by the Director of Coaching and will change each season based on seasonal and team needs.

    Working Schedule:

    Between seasons (approximately 32 weeks of the year), expected working hours are 8:30am to 4:30 pm five days a week. A work week will be comprised of four full weekdays and one full weekend day. Approximately one month prior to the start of each season, schedules will be posted to the calendar. We will work with you to coordinate your schedule as early as possible. However, there are always last-minute changes and adjustments, so some flexibility is needed.

    Working Location:

    Must work from the established office during working hours, unless approved to be working on the “field”. Must meet at least once/weekly with supervisor. At times, position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment.

    Role/Classification:

    The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring approximately 40 hours of work per week. During busy seasons, it may be necessary to work additional hours to meet deadlines and goals.

    For Soccer Shots Long Island West to achieve participation saturation that ranks in the top 10% of the entire Soccer Shots system at the end of every year.

    Key Performance Measures:

    Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors) and supervisor and other support staff within 24 hours.

    Meets weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develops and follows systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with time.

    Meets seasonal performance goals. Goes above and beyond expectations to promote and market our program prior to each season.

    Provides excellent customer service by communicating to parents and center directors.

    Adheres to all company policies and represents Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity.
