    Soccer Shots Lubbock, Texas is looking to expand our team to accommodate growth. We will be operating in preschools, recreational centers, and parks across the Lubbock Metro Area. We want our Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 35 - 40 minute of each child’s week.     Soccer Shots coaches are:Safety-conscious , whose #1 priority is the safety of children under their care Caring , engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmation Organized , who plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group Responsible , who are committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots Energetic , bringing Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate We offer on-site sessions running Monday through Friday, and will be developing for the future Park Programs running all throughout the week, as well as on the weekend. Seasonal schedules will fluctuate between Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; however we will try to keep you at the same location(s) at the same time(s) each week once a season schedule is set. We need you to be 100% committed each season. More sessions means more money for the right coach and could move into full time positions. The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:Responsible - Arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots leadership team & staff Professional - Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with preschool center staff and parents, self-assured Enthusiastic - Must be outgoing & animated, enjoy interacting with children on their level Soccer - Experience is preferred, however if you are great with children and have some familiarity with the game, that works too! Working with children - Must have experience and be able to engage and interact with children ages 2 through 8 Fun - Enjoys having FUN with young kids, being GOOFY, using your imagination, and making kids smile Patient - Must be patient and understand young kids Reliable Transportation - Must have a safe and reliable car with a clean driving record Background check cleared - A successful candidate must pass a Federal & State Background Check CPR/ First Aid Certified - You need to be certified in CPR/ First aid or willing to get certified Physical/work Environment Requirements:This position functions in an inside/outside sports environment a majority of the time. Work requires ability to run, stop, stoop, and bend (a physical, exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40-minute increments per session. The position requires use of hands, arms, legs and feet and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Moderate gymnasium-like noises are associated with this position as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction). In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Background Check, Child Abuse History Clearance, be CPR and First Aid Certified, and pass a TB Test. The job description above is a part time position requiring fewer than 30 hours of work per week.
