    Youth Soccer CoachSoccer Shots- Madison, WI (Dane County)$18-$22 a session- Part-time (Sessions range from 30-45 minutes long)

    Soccer Shots Madison is seeking a positive individual, with a passion for teaching & working with children. Soccer Shots introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 years old at preschools, child care centers and public programs in the Dane County area. We are currently in need of a great youth soccer coach to help us run sessions at several locations. We offer rewarding work, GREAT PAY, and room for growth! Previous teaching and coaching experience is a BIG plus.

    Coaching Description/Schedule:

    Consistent weekly shifts available: M-Friday: 8:45am-11am and/or 3:45pm-5:45pm, Fridays: 5:45pm-7:45pm, Saturdays: 8:45am-11:30am

    Minimum availability of at least 2 days a week (M-Sat). We provide training, coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials. This is a part time position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule.

    Essential Soccer Instructor Qualifications:

    Safety-conscious, whose #1 priority is the safety of children under their care.

    Experienced with children: Must be able to engage and interact with 2-8 years old and have experience doing so.

    Organized, who plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group.

    Responsible, who are committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots (arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director, etc.).

    Caring, engaging and energetic, bringing Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate. Enthusiastic, must enjoy young children, be able to connect with children ages 2-8, must make the Soccer Shots class the best 30-45 minutes of their week.

    Professional, neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director, self-assured.

    No official soccer experience is required. However, having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful.

    Reliable transportation- must have safe and reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver's license.

    Must successfully complete and pass a background check.

    Preferred Soccer Coach Qualifications:

    CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain if needed.

    Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (preferably children ages 2-8)
