Soccer Shots® is the soccer experience for children, using an acclaimed recreational curriculum and great coaches. Through the beautiful game, we aim to develop character, motor skills, and teamwork. The objective of this position is to develop and support trusting relationships with Soccer Shots potential partners so that our vision of positively impacting children is achieved. This person is responsible for following established strategies to strengthen and expand Soccer Shots' customer base while demonstrating excellent customer service through both professional and timely communication.

The following is a list (not exhaustive) of the Marketing Coordinator responsibilities:

Use multiple channels to generate interest in the Soccer Shots organization

Build and maintain strong relationships with school and public program partners through on-site visits, and phone and email communication.

Seek, foster and attain partnerships with new childcare centers, and public programs such as parks, soccer clubs, and community ed programs

Prepare season marketing materials

Perform seasonal marketing promotions via email, paper, and social media

Represent Soccer Shots at industry events, pick-up tables, conferences, Family Fun Fests, etc.

Coach up to 8 soccer classes per week

Work Schedule:

The expected working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional events may require flexible hours for evenings or weekends. Start weeks, make-up dates, special events, etc., are times when flexible hours are needed.

Requirements:

Responsible & Professional | professional communication, timeliness, clean appearance, self-confidence, dependabilityEnthusiastic | proven experience engaging children and adultsFun & Creative | comfortable using your imagination both on and off the fieldPatience and Grit | willing to work through challenging and stressful situationsSoccer & Athletic Know-How | soccer skills as a player or coach is preferred

Experience | Four-year degree in a marketing related field with experience in sales and recruiting preferred

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
