Soccer Shots is the best-in-class children’s soccer program with a focus on character development, for ages 2-8. We also look to develop motor skills and teamwork. Our goal is simple: leave a lasting, positive impact on every child (whom we refer to as friends) we serve. We want Soccer Shots to be the BEST 30 - 45 minutes of each friend’s week.

Job Description

Our coaches are the “face” of Soccer Shots, as they travel to our partnering locations and implement the Soccer Shots curriculum. We are currently looking for qualified coaches, preschool teachers, or other driven individuals who love working with children to join our team.

Competitive Pay. Coaches are compensated based upon the number of sessions coached. Session rates start $16-18 ($16 Schools & $18 Park sessions) per 35-45 minute lead sessions as a Level 1 Coach. $10 during "Coach in Training" sessions.

Work Hard, Play Hard. Quarterly team meetings to refresh on any changes in the company, along with monthly team gatherings allow Soccer Shots Salt Lake City to become more than just a place to work - we become a family.

Responsibilities

Travel to each assigned location weekly

Arrive to each session 20-30 minutes prior to start time

Control and engage groups of 8-12 friends between the ages of 2 and 8 years of age

Conduct high energy, creative and organized 30 - 45 minute sessions using the provided curriculum

Provide a safe and caring environment for every friend

Keep accurate attendance for each location

Care for and clean provided equipment as necessary

Be prepared to work in all types of weather including extreme temperatures and rain

Requirements

Consistent weekly availability

Ability to pass a Federal and State background check and FBI fingerprinting

Reliable transportation to get yourself to your classes in the Salt Lake City Area

Experience with children preferred, but not required

Soccer experience preferred, but not required

CPR/ First Aid Certification preferred, but not required

Compensation

The Part/Full time coaching position would consist of a rate of $16 Schools & $18 Park sessions ($10 during "Coach in Training"), with a structured pay scale to move up based on performance. If more or less sessions per week are desired, that can also be arranged. Also, many areas for growth within the company as we expand.
