    Coaching Manager Soccer Shots:Soccer Shots is a fast-growing, intro-to-soccer program offered throughout Orlando South, Osceola & Polk County. Through relationships established with private childcare centers in addition to public "park" programs, Soccer Shots Orlando South, Osceola & Polk County is currently serving over 900 children between the ages of 2 and 8 years of age and plans to grow this number in the following seasons.

    Objective of the Position:The Marketing & Sales Coordinator is responsible for representing Soccer Shots in the community, as well as securing new locations to expand the Soccer Shots program. The Marketing & Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing yearly goals that align with Soccer Shots vision. This is a part time position, requiring someone who is willing to work in an office environment (mostly from home), as well as having the ability to commute to our partner locations, and new potential locations, cultivating and maintaining a strong relationship.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    COACH DEVELOPMENT - The Coaching Manager takes a primary role in recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, developing, and retaining coaches. Such tasks include: networking for new hires, interviewing, leading on-field training, developing and executing coaching clinics, and performance management. Remarkable coaches are the Coaching Manager's number one priority.

    CURRICULUM REVIEW - The Coaching Manager is responsible for having a thorough knowledge of Soccer Shots curriculum and will train and evaluate coaches in its implementation. Training includes providing tips and tricks to Coaches on implementation. Evaluation includes identifying revisions to curriculum to ensure the delivery of exceptional programming.

    COACH ROLE - As the Soccer Shots Coaching Manager, you will be required to coach at any area site, per the direction of the Soccer Shots owner, Director, or per the need or absence of another instructor.

    SCHEDULING - The Coaching Manager manages all aspects of scheduling coaches each season. This includes identifying and assigning coaches to meet program/school/park requirements; developing schedules to address coaching development; responding to and resolving unanticipated scheduling issues.

    SCHOOL MANAGEMENT AND RELATIONSHIPS - The Coaching Manager will be responsible for helping with the management and relationships of schools currently overseen by the Soccer Shots office and any new sites. Maintaining and enhancing school relationships is a top priority of all team members at Soccer Shots.

    MARKETING SOCCER SHOTS - The Coaching Manager will help to market Soccer Shots to the community.

    PARENT COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT - Communication is a pillar of our Soccer Shots’ brand. The Coaching Manager will support the communication with parents on the field, and work together with the Program Coordinator to fulfill our clients' needs.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Responsible for supervising and overseeing all Soccer Shots Orlando South, Osceola and Polk County coaches.

    Prompt and timely in all aspects of the business, including communication with both customers and Soccer Shots staff; attention to detail is a must

    Commitment to develop, improve, and grow (individually and organizationally) on a daily basis

    Required Experience and Education

    High School Diploma or GED

    Youth soccer coaching experience

    Supervisory experience

    Soccer enthusiast; loves and honors the game

    Experience with computer systems (Office, Outlook)

    Pass DCF level 2 fingerprinting and background check

    Have own reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance

    Preferred Experience and Education

    Bachelor's Degree

    Knowledge of early childhood curriculum and development best practices

    Plus if you are fluent/proficient in Spanish (Must be fluent in English)

    Work Hours:

    This is a full-time position with a 40 hour work week. During seasons, expected working hours will vary and will include working on weekend mornings and weekday evenings.

    Benefits:

    Mileage reimbursement

    PTO – 2 weeks between Christmas and New Year (prorated on the first year based on hire date)

    Compensation:

    $30,000-$35,000

    Physical/Work Environment Requirements:

    Functions in a temperature controlled office environment a portion of the time.

    Work requires ability to sit, stand and walk throughout an extended work day (8 – 10 hours); position requires use of fingers, hands, and arms on a consistent basis for keyboarding and phone work; position may need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion; excellent vision skills (with or without correction) are required. The standard office environment has moderate noise levels associated with computer equipment, customers and phone conversations.

    Position functions in an inside/outside sports environment a portion of the time throughout the year which may include temperatures of extreme heat or cold.

    Work requires ability to run, stop, stoop, bend (a physical, exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40 minute increments per session. Moderate gymnasium like noises are associated with this position as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction).

    This position requires extensive driving in and around the Orlando South, Osceola, and Polk County area. The Coaching Manager is required to drive to multiple sites during the week and on weekends to conduct coaching assessments and provide coaching support as needed.
