Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you not only enjoy working with children, but that you are incredibly passionate about it. Sure, we want you to have some soccer skills and to be familiar with the game, but more importantly, would you love to teach a group of 10 three-year-olds?

Due to our continued growth, we are currently hiring part-time coaches. We operate year-round in daycares, preschools, community centers, and local parks in the Orlando South, Osceola, and the Polk County areas. We provide training, soccer equipment, and all curriculum materials needed to instruct 30–40-minute youth soccer classes for children ages 2-8 years old. Our Soccer Shots classes are held Monday through Friday (9am-12pm / 2pm-5pm / 5pm-7pm) with multiple locations and classes available between those timeframes and classes on Saturday mornings (9am-12pm). There is some flexibility in scheduling; meaning that if there are some mornings or afternoons where you aren’t available, we can work around that. However, Saturday mornings are required, and once your schedule is set with us, you’ll be at the same locations at the same times each week, and we need you to be committed for the entire 16-week season.

The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:

A love to teach children and have a passion to positively impact their lives, loving soccer is a bonus!

Dependable: Must be willing to commit to, at minimum, one year of coaching with Soccer Shots; we need an honest and true commitment.

Responsible: Arrives at least 15-20 minutes early to each session; comes prepared with lesson plan memorized; can handle a group of 10 or more young children (ages 2-8); keeps accurate attendance; well organized.

Professional: Neat in appearance; friendly and courteous with daycare / school staff and directors / principal and parents; self-assured and confident.

Enthusiastic: Must enjoy interacting with young children (2–8 years old); able to connect with children and communicate on their level. You must be very outgoing, animated, and able to be silly with the children.

Transportation: Must have your own, personal, reliable transportation and be willing to drive to locations that are 20-40 minutes away

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a DCF Level 2 background check and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

$20/hour (expect around 15-25 hrs/week, depending on availability). Ability to quickly grow pay rate.

Comprehensive paid Training (at $15/hour for on-field and $12/hour for online. 20-30hrs of training expected.
