Soccer Shots Pittsburgh is hiring a full-time Youth Soccer Coach to work in the Greater Pittsburgh area, particularly the Pittsburgh North region.

For coaches in the Pittsburgh North region, potential work locations include:

Cranberry Township

Adams Township

Butler

Wexford

Allison Park

McCandless

Franklin Park

Sewickley

Zelienople

Natrona Heights

Fox Chapel

Deer Lakes, etc.

Given that the position is full-time and drive time is compensated, there will also be occasional instances in which you will be scheduled to work at locations outside of the Pittsburgh North region.

Responsibilities:

Coach upwards of 30-35 sessions per week. Session range in length from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Full-time coaches must have the ability and willingness coach several sessions in a day, multiple days per week. Coaching locations will vary; local driving is required.

Marketing - partake in seasonal marketing efforts including distribution of marketing flyers and yard signs.

Preferred Experience and Education

Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge of early childhood education / physical education / recreation / athletics and development best practices preferred

Technologically savvy - experience with Google Drive / Sheets / Docs

Work Hours

This is a full-time, exempt position. Soccer Shots operates year-round and offers five seasons: spring, summer, fall, fall 2.0, and winter; each season lasts 9 to 12 weeks. We have private (daycare / elementary school / preschool) sessions in the mornings and in the mid/late afternoons Monday through Friday, and public programs (open to the general public) held Monday through Thursday evenings and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. As such, a mix of daytime, weeknight, and weekend availability is required for this position.

**IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: Many of our staff members work remotely; as such, we need a reliable person who can work alone and who is a self-motivated, self-regulated, driven, and goal-oriented individual. Much of our communication takes place via email, text messaging, phone calls, and online video conferencing. Given this, the candidate MUST be motivated, organized, communicative, and self-sufficient. This position is NOT suitable for those who require a significant amount of oversight or highly structured work environment.

Compensation

Starting salary range of $28,000 to $34,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications

Additional monthly stipend for gas.
