Have FUN teaching SOCCER skills to KIDS while being OUTSIDE and ACTIVE Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with an emphasis on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. Early Education, Elementary & Preschool Teachers

College Age Students and those just starting out in their career

Fitness Coaches, Personal Trainers and those with an active lifestyle

Coaches, of all sports, who want to give back to the community

OUR COACHES RECEIVE:

3-6wks on-field paid training

Consistent schedule during our 10wk season (after training period)

Uniform and soccer equipment for classes, seasonal group trainings, team socials

401k contribution after 6 months. Full time staff receive medical & dental benefits

OUR COACHES ARE:

Passionate about early education and positively impacting youth

Reliable and committed to the kids they coach

18years or older with a high school diploma, reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License

Eligible to work in the U.S., to include passing a Background Check.

Safety-conscious, whose #1 priority is the safety of each child in their care

Caring and provides each child with specific and positive affirmation

Responsible, without need for continual oversight

Energetic, Fun, Silly and engaging

COACHING HOURS & EXPECTATIONS:

Coach 30-45min classes with 10-12 children at a time

Coach up to 8 classes in a day with a minimum of 20 classes per week

Coach both Saturday & Sunday, as well as at least one additional week day

Spend at least 1hr weekly reviewing curriculum and preparing for the week

Arrive on-time (early) for classes with supplied equipment, engage with families before and after classes

Strive to learn from trainers, other coaches and team to become an excellent coach, as rated by our evaluation

SOCCER SHOTS SEASONS:

Winter/Pre-Season: January-March

Spring: March-May

Summer: June-August

Fall: September-November

Off Season: December

OUR CULTURE: We are a young company with a lively culture. We encourage our coaches to hang out with each other and organize events for the team to attend. Pickup soccer games, Thorns games and team socials are very common within our organization. WHERE WE PLAY

We run classes in public parks and schools all across the Portland metro area. While we do try to schedule your classes near where you live, that is not always possible. You will need to have reliable transportation and willingness to drive to our class locations.
