The Opportunity

• Positively impact children ages 3-8, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm

• Camps consist of skills, games, socialization, character building, and a ton of soccer - This summer due to COVID-19 camps have extra protocols and procedures for the safety of kiddos and coaches

• Visit new areas each week. Our camps are held at a handful of spots around the Portland-metro area

• Soccer Shots runs other classes during the week and will be running a fall season. Coaches hired on as Camp Coaches may be able to pick up other summertime coaching opportunities and stay on to coach during the Fall Season.

Who You Are

Responsible: Arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots directors, etc.

Professional: Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with parents, self-assured.

Enthusiastic: Must enjoy interacting with young children (4 – 8 years old), and be able to connect with them on their level, making the Soccer Shots camp the best 5 days of their summer. You must be very outgoing and animated; able to be silly with the children.

Soccer: Soccer experience is preferred, however, if you are great with children and have some familiarity with the game, that would work.

Working with children: Must be able to engage and interact with 4-8 year olds, and have experience doing so. This is very important.

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
