Part-Time Soccer Coach / Educator

THE ORGANIZATION:

When Soccer Shots first started, we dreamed of what we might be able to do... Since then, our dream has turned into an even better reality. Through Soccer Shots, we've impacted thousands of children in and around our communities. We attribute much of our success to the dedicated, fun, and a little bit crazy team. We are seeking candidates who love working with children and teaching social- emotional skills through sports education. Please apply, even if you have never played soccer! We provide all training, curriculum, and gear! We do Soccer Shots Super Hero Camps, public park programs, and on campus classes.

THE JOB:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Coaches assigned soccer classes each week for children ages 2-10

Create a safe, fun, environment for children through the game of soccer

Facilitates and maintains positive relationships with schools, parks and rec, parents, and guardians

Participates in mentorship programs, media events, and leadership training

Helps grow the program by marketing in areas we coach

PERKS:

Compensation $18-$22 PER 30-55 min session coached

$17 per session for training and assisting

$800 signing bonus for 12 Early Childhood Education units (paid at the end of 1 complete full season)

We provide financial assistance/scholarships for Early Childhood Education college units

REQUIREMENTS:

Soccer Shots Coaches must love children and sports

RELIABLE TRANSPORATION and a valid Driver’s License (we drive all over San Diego County)

Cleared background check

Immunizations (TB test, MMR, Tdap)

Must already live in San Diego at the time of application

Employment is contingent on cleared FBI & DOJ Livescan

SCHEDULE:

Working Saturday mornings & once a month a fun team meeting!

Evening programs from 1:00pm-6:35pm
