THE ORGANIZATION:We are an engaging children’s soccer program (ages 2-10) with a focus on character development. We value our team and know that a thriving culture is what keeps staff feeling valued and appreciated. We train our staff in leadership development, communication skills, early childhood education, and sports management. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality, enrichment program that prepares children for a lifetime of success.

THE INTERNSHIP:Roles and Responsibilities

Assist with social media platforms and creating Soccer Shots brand presence online

Engage with brainstorming for strategies on social media outreach

Communicate with our community partners

Guerilla marketing and campaigning

WHAT YOU NEED:A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the following criteria. The candidate must:

Be enrolled in a degree from an accredited college/university

Be majoring in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media and Sales, Advertising, or a closely related discipline

Be available to work part-time for at least 20 weeks

Be able to obtain and maintain a clean background check

Soccer Shots Team Members must love children and soccer

Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License

All applicants must be able to receive academic credit from their college (as the internship is unpaid), and work a minimum of two days per week in our East County office in San Diego
