NOW HIRING A FULL TIME YOUTH SOCCER COACH FOR OUR WINTER 2020 SEASON AND BEYOND

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at preschools, day care centers, private and elementary schools, as well as local public programs at parks around the Bay Area. We are expanding and seeking enthusiastic instructors to help us run sessions for our Winter 2020 Season and beyond.

DETAILS

We are seeking a full time instructor for our Winter 2020 season and beyond. Soccer Shots is a year round program and we seek to retain as many of our wonderful coaching staff as possible. The candidate will be expected to coach between 25-34 sessions per week. Classes are held throughout the day, between 9:00am-5:00pm. Each class is 30-60 minutes long. The candidate will be assigned 5 days per week, not limited to weekdays. We provide all of the necessary training, equipment, and curriculum materials.

We offer salaried compensation with a generous vacation and paid holiday package.The candidate will be eligible to receive health and dental benefits after probationary period.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate must successfully complete a full FBI & DOJ clearance through Live Scan and provide TB clearance updated immunization records.

LOCATION

We are seeking coaches to cover the Marin County/San Francisco/Berkeley/Oakland/Alameda areas.

The candidate will be expected to travel to any and all locations within our Soccer Shots territory. Reliable form of transportation is required.

FULL TIME SCHEDULE

Hours between M-F, 9 am-5 pm (and Sat/Sun 9am-1pm)

The candidate may be expected to work one or both weekend days, never exceeding 40 hours of work weekly.

REQUIREMENTS

Responsible & Professional | communicate professionally, timeliness, clean appearance, self-assured, dependable

Experienced & Enthusiastic | proven experience engaging and leading young children

Fun & Creative | comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children

Patient & Empathic | must be a patient person, willing to work through behavior and learning challenges

Soccer & Athletic Know-How | Soccer skill as a player or instructor is preferred, but not required

Transportation & Cell Phone | must have reliable transportation (driving to different locations) and mobile phone with data

Clear Background | must pass a Live Scan (with clear record) and health screening

Education | 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development are preferred, but not necessary
