Soccer Shots is looking for a reliable, fun, and energetic coach to join our team coaching PreK-7th grade soccer players at Lockport Township Park District. The ideal candidate understands soccer and has a passion for teaching children in a fun and safe environment. This is a recreational league and will focus on skill-building and teamwork. The ideal coach understands that all children learn differently and will be able to adjust their coaching to the needs of the children. Candidates do not need to be previous high-level soccer players but they do need a knowledge of the game and a love of teaching. Our recreational league is held at Dellwood Park in Lockport, IL. Practices are Tuesdays from 4:45 pm - 7:00 pm and Thursdays 4:45 pm - 7:00 pm. Games are parent coached but some Soccer Shots coaches will be assigned to help run the program on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm if available. A Soccer Shots league coach is paid $18 - $22 per hour depending on experience. A soccer league coach will also be considered for our regular Soccer Shots classes for 2-9-year-olds if interested.
