Soccer Shots The Woodlands/Spring is hiring a paid Partner Services Intern. This position is ideal for those interested in Sport Management, Business, Sales, Accounting and much more.

    The Partner Services intern will shadow our Director of Partner Services and learn the business behind how Soccer Shots partners with childcare centers across north Houston to provide soccer enrichment programs to children ages 2-8. The ideal intern candidate is friendly, confident, organized, professional, and enjoys working with children and part of a dedicated and hardworking leadership team. While the schedule is flexible, candidates should be able to commit approximately 15-20 hours each week to the intern role. Candidate should have their own reliable transportation and willing to travel as needed for work; our office is located at Six Pines and Woodlands Parkway in central Woodlands, but this position will require frequent travel to our partner childcare centers.

    The Partner Services Intern will serve in the following areas:

    A. Sales and New Account Setup

    • Learning the sales process and activities that support the addition of new accounts

    • Participating in sales meetings with the Director of Partner Services

    • Assist directors with CRM notes and updates, such as:

    o Director/coordinator contacts

    o Notes and dates of previous visits/conversations

    o Information about schedules, classrooms, etc.

    B. Account Management for Current Partners

    • Maintaining an up-to-date list of active locations and director/coordinator contacts

    • Assisting with quarterly check-in visits to ensure excellent customer service

    C. Communication and Marketing

    • Updating, printing, and distributing season enrollment flyers, posters and other marketing materials prior to the season launch

    • Preparing partner materials for coaching staff, such as location 1-sheets, guest passes, demo flyers, etc.

    D. Coaching

    • Participating in training process to become a Level 1 certified Soccer Shots coach

    • Coaching or school or park locations approximately 50% of hours worked

    • Filling in for coaches when necessary

    E. Quality Assurance

    • Working closely with Director of Operations and Director of Partner Services to review seasonal NPS results and follow up with as needed

    • Brainstorming and implementing creative and thoughtful programs to recognize school partners
