Do you have experience with sites like LexisNexis, SocialCatfish.com or other people search sites? Do you consider yourself an expert when it comes to online research? Are you also passionate about helping others and providing good service? Social Catfish is looking for a skilled problem solver and online researcher to join our team. This is a very unique role that we always have a lot of interest in. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service concerns, help provide in-depth assistance to our customers by doing online research for them, and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, and will be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering comprehensive and accurate assistance to our customers. This candidate must be an expert when conducting online research.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns
• Do online research for customers who hire us to do investigative work
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish rapport with every caller
• Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call
• Create reports on information found using Adobe PDF
• Stay up to date with online scams, including how they work and how to uncover scams
• Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
• Impact the company's bottom line by problem-solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as required or requested in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve overall objectives

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have prior customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED required
• Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to navigate online public records and decipher data for our customers
• Ability to do online research and uncover 'leads'
• Understanding of IPs, VOIP, proxies and online image searches
• Must be personable and be willing to be on camera that can include social media and our YouTube channel
• Strong understanding how social networks, dating sites, forums, online apps and other popular internet properties work
• Microsoft word, ability to create online PDFs and reports
• BONUS - LEXISNEXIS AND OTHER PUBLIC RECORDS SEARCH EXPERIENCE.
• BONUS - Have previous online comprehensive search experience through another company, Private Investigator, law enforcement, and/or through platforms like Ancestory.com
• BONUS - Experience working with online scams
• BONUS - Experience with military and law enforcement
