    Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) Program Manager (Full-Time, 12 months)

    CHADS Coalition for Mental Health is a non-profit organization whose mission is to save young lives by advancing the awareness and prevention of depression and suicide.

    Program Description:

    CHADS believes the emotional well-being of youth is enhanced through building self-esteem, self-efficacy, decreasing bullying behaviors, decreasing risk taking behaviors and supporting the development of social and emotional skills. To support the social and emotional well-being of a child, CHADS utilizes an assortment of evidence-based programs. These programs include but are not limited to one on one social and emotional mentoring, Second Step, group mentoring, and classroom/student observations.

    The Job responsibilities for the SEW Program Manager will include but are not limited to:

    Oversee all CHADS SEW services including the Social Emotional Learning Coach and Social Emotional Mentoring (school-based, community-based, and juvenile justice center) programs

    Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of SEW Staff

    Utilize Continuous Quality Improvement to ensure all SEW programs are implemented to fidelity and meet highest quality standards

    Encourage, support, and guide new, innovative ideas and program development that support Social and Emotional Wellness

    Serve as liaison between community partners and CHADS

    Responsible for updating and maintaining best practices for social emotional curriculum

    Oversee, track, and manage all SEW data including analyzing program outputs and outcomes

    Meet or exceed projected agency outputs and outcomes for the SEW Program

    Participate in CHADS Leadership team and Program team meetings to enhance mission-centric work.

    Promote CHADS' Signs of Suicide (SOS), Family Support services, and the Social Emotional Wellbeing Program to school administrators, faculty, and students

    Regularly monitor and audit SEW services for quality assurance and fidelity

    Assist with general suicide & depression awareness presentations in the community

    Any task assigned by the Chief Program Officer

    Qualifications:

    Preferred master’s degree in education, counseling or similar degree, minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or counseling degree with 3-5 years’ experience

    Experience in social emotional learning, program development, program oversight, and growth

    Management or supervisory experience with the ability to inform, engage, and inspire staff and community stakeholders

    Energetic with the ability to engage with youth, parents, and schools

    Excellent organization skills, time management, record keeping skills, and meets deadlines

    Knowledge and compassion regarding suicide and bullying prevention

    Strong verbal and written communications skills

    Team-player attitude and ability to understand and effectively share the CHADS’ mission

    Desire to work in an environment of measurable accountability

    Must be proficient using computer applications and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and live video conferencing

    This position is located in the St. Louis, MO region and requires a valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to drive up to 45 minutes to/from school locations

    The SEW Manager is a full-time position that runs Monday-Friday. Occasional evening hours may be required. This position reports directly to the Chief Program Officer

    The starting salary for this position is $58,656+
