    NOW HIRING 2022 SPRING SALES INTERNS! We've had the pleasure of working with dozens of fantastic interns over the years, and we've worked hard to develop our internships so that individuals truly learn new skills and come away with valuable experience to add to their resumes. 

    Our Inside Sales Interns provide support to our full-time sales team to acquire new clients for Social High Rise. Interns are trained to understand social media philosophy, as it relates to restaurants and small businesses. Interns also go through rigorous sales training to learn to qualify leads, overcome objections, close, and build and maintain a strong sales pipeline over the phone and through email. This is a great internship for individuals interested in learning more about the social media industry, social media marketing, inside sales, and start-up company culture.

    INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Partnering with the Social High Rise sales team at our Chico Headquarters office a minimum of 12 hours per week on a consistent, pre-determined schedule (typically 3 days per week for 4-hour shifts) - punctuality and dedication are extremely important. WEDNESDAY MORNING AVAILABILITY STRONGLY PREFERRED!
    • WORK ETHIC! Averaging 20-30 calls per hour
    • Following a written script to assist you in having successful prospecting calls
    • Sending appointment reminder emails to qualified leads
    • Sending email campaigns to nurture leads
    • Learn and practice how to quickly overcome objections, closing techniques, and persuasive sales psychology
    • Bringing an attitude of hustle every day
    • Rigorously tracking sales activity
    • Analyzing personal performance to find ways to improve
    • Shadowing the Social High Rise team to learn sales and business-related skills that can be applied to future career opportunities.

    DEFINITION OF SUCCESS:

    • Qualify 8+ leads per month
    • Schedule solid appointments with qualified prospects to speak with a Sales Executive

    COMPENSATION:

    • $5 per qualified appointment set
    • $50 per deal closed as a result of a lead you qualify

    • An accelerated rate of learning, since we're a start-up and we move quickly

    EXPECTED START DATE: JANUARY 26TH, 2022 -- WE WILL BEGIN CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS VIA PHONE & ZOOM VIDEO OCT/NOV 2021.
