    NOW HIRING 2023 SPRING SALES INTERNS! We've had the pleasure of working with dozens of fantastic interns over the years, and we've worked hard to develop our internships so that individuals truly learn new skills and come away with valuable experience to add to their resumes.

    Our Inside Sales Interns provide support to our full-time sales team to acquire new clients for Social High Rise. Interns are trained to understand social media philosophy, as it relates to restaurants and small businesses. Interns also go through rigorous sales training to learn to qualify leads, overcome objections, close, and build and maintain a strong sales pipeline over the phone and through email. This is a great internship for individuals interested in learning more about the social media industry, social media marketing, inside sales, and start-up company culture.

    Interns get the best experience by committing to two semesters (Spring, Summer, or Fall). Past interns have typically doubled their earnings during their second semester compared to their first. This gives interns longer-term sales experience to add to their resumes, which many companies look for. Interns who complete two semesters are also considered for a full-time Sales Executive position with Social High Rise after graduation.

    INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Partnering with the Social High Rise sales team at our Chico Headquarters office a minimum of 15 hours per week on a consistent, pre-determined schedule - punctuality and dedication are extremely important. WEDNESDAY MORNING AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED!
    • WORK ETHIC! Averaging 20-30 calls per hour
    • Following a written script to assist you in having successful prospecting calls
    • Sending appointment reminder emails to qualified leads
    • Sending email campaigns to nurture leads
    • Learn and practice how to quickly overcome objections, closing techniques, and persuasive sales psychology
    • Bringing an attitude of hustle every day
    • Rigorously tracking sales activity
    • Analyzing personal performance to find ways to improve
    • Shadowing the Social High Rise team to learn sales and business-related skills that can be applied to future career opportunities.

    DEFINITION OF SUCCESS:

    • Qualify 8+ leads per month
    • Schedule solid appointments with qualified prospects to speak with a Sales Executive

    COMPENSATION:

    • $20-$80 per qualified appointment set (increases with volume over the semester)
    • Bonuses for hitting personal and team goals
