    Job Description

NOW HIRING 2018 SPRING INTERNS! We're a 5-year-old company and we've had the pleasure of working with dozens of fantastic interns over the past 4 years. We've worked hard to develop our internships so that individuals truly learn new skills and come away with valuable experience to add to resumes.

Our Social Media Account Specialist Interns provide support to our full-time Account Specialist Team members. Interns are trained to understand social media philosophy as it relates to restaurants and small businesses. They contribute to our Social High Rise blog and participate in shadowing full-time Account Specialists to learn magical social media management skills!

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Partnering with the Social High Rise team at our Chico Headquarters office approximately 8-10 hours per week on a consistent, pre-determined schedule (typically 2 days per week for 3-4 hour shifts) - punctuality and dedication is extremely important.
    • WRITING! Writing with strict attention to detail, proper grammar, expression, & thoughtfulness, often through the lens of customer service and public relations.
    • Did we say writing? Blog writing, too!
    • Assisting Account Managers in day-to-day social media management activities for clients - mostly customer reviews.
    • Assisting Account Managers in working with clients to craft professional responses to positive and negative customer reviews.
    • Aiding in conducting research to find engaging content and ideas for social media posts.
    • Working to find solutions to complex problems quickly and competently.
    • Constructing detailed processes for organizing and analyzing data.
    • Shadowing the Social High Rise team to learn account management and business related skills that can be applied to future career opportunities.
    • A bunch of other stuff that might come up, because after all, we're a startup, and things don't always follow a plan.
