We are seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant, ideally a university student pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field. This role offers hands-on experience managing professional healthcare social media channels while supporting a mission-driven medical practice.
Responsibilities:
• Create, schedule, and post content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Develop creative graphics, short videos, and captions that are family-friendly and accessible.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track analytics.
• Collaborate with leadership to align messaging with the practice’s mission.
• Stay current on social media trends, especially in healthcare and community engagement.
Qualifications:
• Current university student in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related major.
• Strong writing and editing skills; ability to adapt tone for a pediatric healthcare audience.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
• Organized, creative, and able to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience managing social media accounts (personal, student organizations, or internships) is a plus but not required.
