Job Title: Social Media Content Creator & Brand Face

About Us: Complete Playground is Manhattan’s largest indoor play space, designed to bring joy, inclusion, and discovery to children of all abilities. We’re a nonprofit committed to connecting neurotypical and neurodivergent children through play, creativity, and community events.

Position Overview: We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creator who is also excited to be the face of our brand. You’ll create and star in video content, engage with our vibrant parent and child community, and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and beyond. If you’re confident on camera, passionate about storytelling, and understand how to connect with families online—we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Camera Talent: Be the face and voice of Complete Playground on social media (e.g., hosting Instagram Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes tours, interviews, and announcements).

Content Creation: Plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging photo and video content that reflects our mission and community.

Social Strategy: Develop and implement organic growth strategies and content plan across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.

Blog Writing: Write and publish blog posts about parenting, play, inclusion, and upcoming events or programs.

Engagement: Interact with our online community, respond to comments/messages, and build a loyal following of families and fans.

Media Editing: Quickly and efficiently edit photos and videos for multiple platforms using tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar.

Requirements:

Comfortable and confident being on camera and representing the brand.

Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

Proven experience editing visual content (photos, videos, stories).

Excellent written communication skills for blogging and captions.

Experience working with children and families, especially in recreational, educational, or enrichment settings.

Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and produce content on a fast turnaround.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with neurodivergent children or creating inclusive content for neurodiverse audiences.

Background in early childhood education, special education, or child development is a plus.

Fluency in Spanish or another language is a bonus.
