Social Media Content Specialist
$24.00 per hour
The position allows for some flexibility to work both remote and in person.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop newsletters, publications, digital messaging, and social media content.
- Create and gather assets for posting (photos and video).
- Take photo and video within BSOM to be used for social posts.
- Gather existing BSOM photo and video to be used for social posts.
- Build stakeholder engagement by creating promotional campaigns and social media content.
- Elevate brand visibility and strengthen reputation by securing positive earned media with targeted campaigns.
- Ensure key messages are consistently shared across internal and external channels—email, digital platforms, social media, presentations, and events.
- Maintain consistency in messaging and voice across all communications aligned with Wright State brand standards.
- Create reports from earned media analysis and report on media and content effectiveness
- Set the tone and voice for content, including communications, media engagement, social media, and branded storytelling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor 's degree with experience in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or healthcare administration.
- Strong written communications and a creative thinker
- Must be detail-orientated and able to manage multiple projects
