Social Media Coordinator
Founded in 2008, Tutu School is a quaint and whimsical collection of boutique ballet schools designed to foster creativity and joy while encouraging tiny dancers to fully exercise their imagination as well as their bodies. With over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada, Tutu School provides an imaginative curriculum that celebrates the magic of childhood and builds confidence through movement.
We are Tutu Collective Inc., a proud multi-unit franchisee of Tutu School. We currently operate 11 Tutu School locations across California, New York, and Connecticut. We are hiring for a Social Media Coordinator to oversee and manage the 11 (and counting) location pages. This position will report directly to the Director of Business Operations.
About the Role Tutu School is seeking a creative and organized part-time Social Media Coordinator to support the brand awareness and reach of all locations under the Tutu Collective ownership group. This role manages and curates content across 11 social media accounts, ensuring each location has personalized, engaging, and hyper-local content that aligns with Tutu School’s whimsical and magical brand standards.
This position blends social media management, content creation, marketing support, and collaboration with on-site teams to help bring our studio communities to life online.
Responsibilities
Manage 11 Instagram accounts, ensuring each page is consistently updated with accurate, engaging, and on-brand content.
Develop monthly content calendars for each location, including feed posts, stories, highlights, and event promotions.
Responsible for posting content / managing posting schedules.
Create personalized, local content that reflects each studio’s community while maintaining unified brand identity across all accounts. Produce engaging content that supports a mix of event marketing, brand awareness, seasonal campaigns, and localized storytelling.
Collaborate with local Social Media Principal Teachers to gather photos, videos, and local moments.
Ensure all pages are up to date with accurate class schedules, announcements, promotions, and brand messaging.
Create additional marketing materials, including flyers, emails and promotional materials.
Develop content aligned with the annual promotion calendar, special events, studio initiatives, and company-wide marketing strategies.
Maintain a consistent voice, aesthetic, and standard of quality across all platforms and channels.
Monitor performance analytics to help shape future content and engagement strategies.
Assist with answering DMs as needed.
Qualifications
Experience managing multiple social media accounts, preferably for consumer-facing brands or multi-location businesses.
Strong understanding of Instagram best practices (Reels, Stories, Highlights, trending audio, engagement strategies, etc.).
Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone to match Tutu School’s playful, child-centered, whimsical brand.
Strong organizational and project-management abilities. Comfortable juggling multiple calendars and deadlines.
Experience in graphic design.
Photo and video editing skills; ability to create simple, polished social media graphics and reels.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with regional teams.
Passion for creativity, storytelling, and connecting with the community through digital platforms.
Experience in Canva, Constant Contact, ClassBug and SOCi are a plus.
Nice to Have, but Not Required:
Ballet or dance experience
Ability to teach children's ballet classes at one of our 11 studios
Hours & Structure
Part-time, flexible weekly hours.
Estimate 10-15 hours per week
Remote, if located near Westport (CT) would be able to go to the studio/office.
$20-$23 Per Hour
This is a remote position.
