Job Description
CNBC Make It is seeking a social media pro to determine and execute social editorial strategies on various platforms. This social media editor, based in CNBC Make It’s New York City office, will create and distribute content aimed at increasing traffic and engagement across all CNBC Make It’s platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and others.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has a proven track record of expanding the social reach of a media outlet or brand. This position requires impeccable spelling and grammar, a deep understanding of social media trends and what works on each platform, vertical video editing skills, the ability to capture well-composed videos on a phone, Photoshop experience, and a passion for personal finance and work-related stories. Being able to host social content is a plus but not required.
