The RoleWe're looking for a Social Media Specialist to bring Hale Law's social media strategy to life across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. We already have the strategy — your job is to execute it exceptionally well: create sharp content, publish consistently, and keep our channels active, engaging, and on-brand. The right person is an ambitious self-starter who takes ownership of execution. You follow through, you don't let things slip, and you're always looking for ways to make the content better. You'll film and edit video, design content that looks great, and be the compassionate, trustworthy voice our audience hears every day. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Sarasota. Responsibilities: Execute Hale Law's social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, tailoring content to each platform's audience. Develop original content (posts, reels, videos, graphics) aligned with Hale Law's brand voice and campaigns. Film and edit high-quality videos and photos using professional tools. Design polished graphics and digital assets for social content. Create ad-ready content and contribute ideas to paid social campaigns (the marketing team manages the ad accounts). Own and maintain the social media content calendar. Schedule and publish content using Social Pilot, ensuring timely and consistent posting. Coordinate with the marketing team to align posts with active campaigns. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and DMs across all platforms, maintaining a compassionate and trustworthy tone. Engage with followers, address inquiries, and stay on top of social listening. Participate in and capture content at community events Hale Law sponsors, some weekend and after-hours events. Travel locally (~10% of the time) for content shoots at offices, events, and sponsorships (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required). Analyze engagement metrics (likes, shares, reach) and provide weekly KPI reports to the Marketing Director. Adjust content and posting based on performance data to maximize reach and impact. Optimize company pages across each platform to increase the visibility of Hale Law's social content. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and tools. Qualifications: • What We're Looking For Experience: 1–2 years in a social media coordinator or content creation role. Skills: Video filming and editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent) Digital and graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Experience with paid social advertising — you understand how paid campaigns work and can create content that performs Strong writing and editing with a sharp eye for detail Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn and each platform's best practices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Attributes: Ambitious and proactive with an ownership mentality — you take pride in your work, follow through, and look for ways to make the content better Highly organized, able to juggle a full content calendar, shoots, and community engagement at once Genuinely passionate about social media and staying ahead of trends Excellent communicator who can engage diverse audiences with warmth and professionalism Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well independently and as part of a team Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
