    Job Summary: Celebree School of Plano at Los Rios is looking for a creative, organized, and child-focused Part-time Social Media and Event Coordinator to manage our online presence and lead the planning and execution of family-friendly school events. This role plays a key part in building a strong sense of community among families, promoting our programs, and enhancing the visibility of our preschool.

    Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management:

    Develop and maintain a content calendar featuring photos, videos, and announcements from classroom activities, events, and school news.

    Capture and share engaging, appropriate moments that highlight student learning, teacher engagement, and the preschool environment.

    Manage and grow the school’s presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and others as appropriate.

    Engage with families and the community through comments, messages, and interactive content (e.g., polls, Q&A, highlights).

    Monitor social media performance and make recommendations for improvements.

    Event Coordination:

    Plan and coordinate preschool events such as open houses, holiday celebrations, family nights, graduation, and seasonal parties.

    Coordinate logistics including scheduling, set-up, decorations, materials, and communication with parents.

    Promote events through flyers, social media posts, and newsletters.

    Attend and support events to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for families and children.

    Qualifications:

    Experience in social media management and/or event planning, preferably in an education or childcare setting.

    Strong communication, writing, and visual storytelling skills.

    Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.

    Understanding of social media best practices and basic photo/video editing tools.

    Schedule & Availability:

    Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

    *Some on-site work required for capturing content and supporting events.
