    Job Description

    Social Native is a marketplace technology company that empowers marketers to source and optimize visual content to improve brand awareness and performance. Brands such as Adidas, L’Oréal, Crocs, Nestlé Waters, and Unilever trust Social Native to source and create high-performing visual content to improve the performance of their ecommerce marketing and paid and organic social strategies.

    With the recent acquisition of Olapic, we’re changing the way marketers evaluate, refine and optimize their visual content strategy. We’re developing an all-in-one platform that provides brands with data-driven insights, scales content creation, measures the impact of their work, and optimizes content for even greater results.

    As Product Manager you will partner with company leaders to help set and deliver the product vision for Social Native as we create and scale a new platform for visual content creation and distribution. This role requires you to combine a large set of inputs about the industry, the customers, the competitors, the technology ecosystem, and the resource constraints -- and help design the appropriate strategy for Social Native.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Deliver projects and products using the appropriate project management methodology, learning, while iterating frequently
    • Work with the product team on product roadmap, ideation, and scoping
    • Work with the engineering team to translate and validate product requirements into engineering specifications
    • Work with sales and marketing team to understand market needs, conditions, and requirements
    • Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage of development (alpha/beta/production)
    • Lead project meetings, capture minutes/action items, send out regular status updates, and other necessary information.
    • Understand and validate the details of deliverables as provided by project resources; identifies, analyzes and closes gaps.
    • Ability to multi-task across variety of projects and takes initiative to find the next step forward and demonstrate product sense in decision making
    • Prepares for and facilitates release planning with teams as appropriate
    • Working knowledge of the project lifecycle (whether it be software development, content, release management, etc.).

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager
    • Experience working with different stakeholders including Sales, Customer Service, Support teams & Development.
    • Good understanding of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, etc.
    • Good at consensus gathering, requirements gathering and formal specification documents in product development.
    • Helps in creating accurate requirements
    • Can write in a lean, concise, and engaging manner
    • Knows how to prioritize features based on current product usage, customer requests, and executive vision.
    • Has a strong ability to generate meaningful KPIs around new product launches and creating tools & means to capture the KPIs
    • Has a strong ability to define acceptance criteria
    • Knows how to track progress on initiatives
    • Knows how to build Agile roadmaps
    • Understands how to explore business domains and evaluate competition
    • Knows how to balance perfection with fast execution
    • Can look at a software product and offer detailed assessment of strengths and weaknesses
    • Loves to tinker and explore new products

    ADDITIONAL DESIRED CRITERIA

    • Knowledge of SQL
    • Background in programming
