    Social Sales Coordinator Description Celebrations are important. Whether it's a milestone in someone's life, like a wedding, anniversary or birthday, a local organization's banquet or a celebration of life. The Social Sales Coordinator is the primary contact at the hotel in the final stages of coordinating/detailing a social event and when the client is in-house. They will review each event with the client to produce a detailed plan (BEO) for its execution which will be the blueprint for hotel operations to follow in production, while maximizing revenue from food and beverage, meeting room rental and group rooms. Will be expected to work weekends and holidays when social events are occurring. Responsibilities: • Book, plan, detail/coordinate and at times be the on-site contact for client social events. • Follow sales protocols to produce new bookings and maximize revenue by up-selling to existing clients. • Obtain detailed information regarding customers’ needs to utilize space to hotel’s advantage. • Communicate client needs thoroughly to all relevant department managers via distribution of detailed Banquet Event Orders and other communications as needed. • Closely work with others on the sales team and other departments to maintain a collaborative work environment. • Exhibit a high level of customer service at all times. • Exhibit excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills. • Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients • Be present and available at weddings and additional select important functions to greet clients and ensure proper event execution. • Attend in-house meetings as requested. • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly with a diverse group of clients and co-workers. • Strong organizational and priority setting skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High School Diploma required. • At least 1-2 years of event planning, catering sales, or hospitality sales experience preferred. Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 + Bonus

    $50,000-$60,000 per year
