5th Grade Social Studies Teacher - Full-Time

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 5th Grade Social Studies Teacher to support elementary school students in Philadelphia, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and tests. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment. Communicate with parents and collaborate with school staff. Support students in developing critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, History, or a related field. Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate. Strong Social Studies knowledge and instructional skills. Classroom management and communication skills. Ability to support diverse learners and student success.
