Position Overview:
The Part-Time Social Worker will be responsible for providing support and intervention to individuals and families dealing with a wide array of social, emotional, and behavioral issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of social services, and a commitment to serving our community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client assessments to evaluate needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide direct counseling and support to clients.
- Facilitate access to community resources and services, including healthcare, housing, and financial assistance.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists, healthcare providers, and community leaders, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies and licensing requirements.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and help them navigate systems to obtain necessary services.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure (LBSW, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous experience in a social work environment, particularly with diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service programs.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends if necessary.
