About Us: Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy is a nonprofit clinic in Londonderry, NH dedicated to unlocking potential, supporting families’ strengths, and transforming lives. We provide high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as mental health counseling and family support for children and young adults with developmental disabilities.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Social Worker or Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide direct support to children, young adults, and their families, with a focus on play therapy and trauma-informed care. You will collaborate closely with families and other therapists to deliver individualized, strengths-based interventions that foster resilience, growth, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services to children, young adults, and families.
Utilize play therapy and trauma-informed approaches to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
Collaborate with occupational, physical, and speech therapists to deliver holistic care.
Offer parent education, coaching, and support to empower families.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and community outreach as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
Current NH licensure (LICSW, LCMHC, or equivalent).
Experience working with children, young adults, and families.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Commitment to inclusive, family-centered, and strengths-based practice.
Will consider and provide supervision for social worker looking to be licensed in the next year
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with developmental disabilities and/or pediatric populations.
Knowledge of community resources and support systems in New Hampshire.
Bilingual or multicultural competence is a plus.
Demonstrated expertise in play therapy and trauma-informed care.
