    About Your Role

    As a contracted Freelance Junior Digital Content Designer at SocialQ, you'll create and steer content for a variety of brands, with a number of objectives and briefs. In this hybrid role, you'll combine your expertise in content strategy and graphic design with your creative vision and leadership skills across digital content - including organic social, paid ads, landing pages, and email - to drive impactful visual storytelling across marketing touch points.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to craft and formulate creative briefs in partnership with strategy and project management team members based on a brand's business objectives.
    Concepting: Ability to generate high level creative concepts, directions, ways in, and ideas to unique briefs while articulating how said routes answer the specific needs of the project at hand
    Creative Direction: Provide strategic direction in the form of concepts through to execution and protect the visual identity of projects from concept to execution.
    Graphic Design: Develop engaging visuals, including mainly digital assets, brand collateral, marketing materials, landing pages, emails, social posts, paid ads, internal materials, and more.
    Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project management and media team members to deliver cohesive and compelling design solutions.
    Brand Stewardship: Uphold brand standards and ensure consistency across all design elements and communications.
    Timeline & Workflow Management: Deadline oriented with keen attention to detail in order to meet and even exceed timing requirements and tight turnarounds
    Innovation & Trends: Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and creativity.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (not mandatory)
    Proven experience (3+ years) in graphic design and art direction, preferably in a creative agency or in-house marketing team with strong knowledge of digital media - organic social, paid ads, e-commerce landing pages, and emails.
    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other design software.
    Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to both internal teams and clients.
    A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and creative executions across various platforms and mediums, with a focus on digital and social.
