JOB TITLE: Program Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Program Manager leads all programs of the LA office with the goal of exceeding contract goals. · Duties include but are not limited to, meeting job placement and retention goals, ensure staff meet individual and team goals; oversee daily operations and handle issues as they arise. · Monitors contractual commitments, addressing areas of non-compliance. · Interact daily with at-risk individuals, ensuring they are confident and is able to meet their needs and help them become self-sufficient through employment.

· Seeks out new business opportunities by networking with partners, founders, government agencies and elected officials. · Leads marketing efforts of the company on social media, at hiring events, in meetings with potential partners and through onsite events organized by the staff. · The Program Manager reports to the National Director for Veterans Programs, the co-National Directors for Ticket to Work and the Chief Executive Office and co-founder of the company.

REQUIREMENTS · Mandatory 4-year degree and significant workforce development employment experience. · 3-5 years management experience preferred. · Public affairs, government relations, campaign experience in the LA area preferred. · Understanding of LA’s city government and California state politics preferred. · Previous experience with case management, job development and adult education preferred. · Experience in creating and delivering impact service plans for participants. · Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, sound judgement and strong organizational skills. · Previous Outside/Inside sales experience a plus. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CRMs a plus. · Desire to learn about and assist individuals of at risk populations, including homeless military veterans, criminal justice involved, Social Security disability recipients, welfare recipients and other at-risk populations.
