Job Description

The successful candidate must be reliable, ambitious and self-motivated, and can problem-solve in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

• Produce plans, elevations, sections, and details from field measurements, sketches, and mark-ups provided by Project Managers.
• Perform CAD drafting work in accordance with office standards and procedures.
• Perform a variety of complicated CAD tasks.
• Coordinate project information and needs with Project Manager, Contractors and Clients.
• Perform field verification.
• Photograph current or potential projects.
• Develop and prepare graphic presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study and a minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, RINO and\or BIM
• Experience with SketchUP a plus.
• Prior professional experience with Revit is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Blue Beam preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Understanding of construction materials and building assemblies.
• Strong understanding of Building Technology and Means and Methods.
• Experience with Building Envelope Technology preferred, but not required.
• Ability to effectively present and communicate information verbally, graphically and in writing.
• Ability to apply common sense to solve problems and make decisions in non-standard situations.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
• Familiar with federal, state and local codes as applicable to projects
• Effective organizational/planning and time management skills
