    Experience in the manufacturing. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)- Helpful in Metal stamping industry and robotic welding assembly plant experience.

    At least 5 year of previous experience with IT in the Automotive Sector-Related Industries

    The IT Operations Specialist is a technically savvy and customer focused individual responsible for all aspects and functions involved with IT Operations. This role ensures that the performance obligations of in-house computing systems are met and are in line with the standards set by corporate team. The IT Specialist is also responsible for being the primary IT escalation point at te business unit, generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve malfunctions and make the appropriate recommendations in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

    The IT Specialist will be in charge to provide 1st level Support to Sodecia application. He is also responsible to understand and address the difficulties that affects the system utilization adherence.

    The IT Specialist will work with the engineering team in order to find o pportunities and apply solution to improve business efficiency.

    The IT Specialist is responsible to ensure the execution of IT internal control such as backup, license control, capacity planning and contact/incident management and etc.

    The IT specialist will actively support the MPLD team with planning activities, ensuring system availability and realizability, training users, automating manual task and ensuring that the plans assumptions are aligned with corporate guidance.

    IT specialist will be in charge to ensure that no user will be able to execute non authorized activities in the system such as buy non authorized material, make non authorized payments and etc...

    At least 5 year of previous experience with IT in the Automotive Sector

    To manager and upgrade customer portal

    Knowledge of EDI administration

    Background with MRP projects

    Previous experience with AS400 or SAP is desirable

    Intermediary knowledge of Windows server

    Intermediary knowledge of Active Directory

    Intermediary knowledge of Information Security

    Advanced knowledge of data base

    Previous experience with Queries

    Previous experience with EDI

    Previous experience with MRP projects

    Previous experience with MES implementation

    Responsibilities, Duties and Authority

    • Monitors, restores service, changes, supports, administers and handles day-to-day activities required to run the mission critical ( IT systems (ERP, MES, GL, etc.) for the division ensuring business service levels are met, environments are managed.

    • Monitors, restores service, changes, supports, administers and handles day-to-day activities required to run the mission critical IT systems (ERP, MES, GL, etc) for the division ensuring business service levels are met, environments are managed.
    • Supports all plant operational activities, resolving critical system issues on an ongoing basis. Drives and/or promotes new processes, systems, technology, and operations and expanded capabilities for performance, with the flexibility to align to the unique requirements of the division.
    • Control Software, Hardware and third-party service contracts
    • Assists in the analysis, design, and provide support during implementation on divisional projects.
    • Support Project Managers, Systems Administrators, and end users to define systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
    • Provides Help / Service Desk support, as well as coordinates and facilitates Incident Management, deploys changes to the production environment, and engages 3rd party providers contracted to the division during an incident.
    • Executes fail-over and/or Disaster Recover of infrastructure and applications in support of business continuity plans of the divisions.
    • Documents and communicates assigned work, problems, issues and progress to management.
    • Performs troubleshooting to address issues related to business application
    • Maintain & support trading partners & EDI, backup tapes & schedules,
    • Supports Time & Attendance system, camera system, ERP, MES and others.
    • Physical inventory preparation (batch creation, label creation, & RF scan gun programming to users).
    • Maintains user security within Active Directory.
    • Train, coach, & assist office and shop floor IT users in the main core applications (ERP, MES,MRP and others)
    • Lead IT Infrastructures analyst
    • Ensure 5S in all IT resources (computer room, IT cabinets, etc)
    • Support planning activities of MPLD team
    • Work close to engineering team to automate process and eliminate wastes
