At Team SODO, we get software developers shipping on day one. Our core product, SODO, automates project onboarding and facilitates the rapid discovery of each of the hundreds of tools teams use to build and deploy software into production. We enable engineers to ship on day one of a project, on day one on a team, and in the dead of the night while on-call.

We’re looking for a contract (1099) Senior Software Engineering with an interest in archeology. Someone willing to dig legacy code bases, figure out how they work, and how they can be mutated to support shipping on day one.

You’ll be joining a small-but-growing senior team with combined decades of software development experience at high-tech companies. You’ll help our customers successfully ship on day one.

What You Have:

• 10+ years of experience working in high-performing software development environments
• Degree in computer science or related field, or comparable industry experience
• Experience picking apart complex legacy code bases
• Ability to learn on the go and pick up just about anything
• An uncanny ability to unblock yourself and your teammates
• Preference to resolve a debate with a proof of concept than with a long email
• Desire to move the goalposts in an entire industry by getting tech teams shipping code
