At Team SODO, we get software developers shipping on day one. Our core product, SODO, automates project onboarding and facilitates the rapid discovery of each of the hundreds of tools teams use to build and deploy software into production. We enable engineers to ship on day one of a project, on day one on a team, and in the dead of the night while on-call.

We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer that can help us build out the SODO web applications, this position will be heavily focused on front end development using React. Our team are go-getters and love nothing more than shipping software; you’ll fit in if you love getting code out the door instead of just talking about it. We don’t just use modern high-performing development team best practices—we set the standard for them. All of your favorite tools are in our bag.

You’ll be joining a small-but-growing senior team with combined decades of software development experience at high-tech companies. You’ll help design systems that are core to the SODO mission, code services and applications, create devops tooling, and write UIs. Above all, you’ll ship code to production. We do a lot of that around here.

What You Have:

• 3 years of experience working in high-performing software development environments
• Degree in computer science or related field, or comparable industry experience
• Experience building modern front end applications using Node, React, Redux, Webpack, etc...
• Exposure to continuous delivery, AWS, serverless Infrastructure (Lambda), automated provisioning (Terraform, Chef)
• Ability to learn on the go and pick up just about anything
• Desire to move the goalposts in an entire industry by getting tech teams shipping code
