We are looking for an exceptional FRONT-END DEVELOPER to work with our cross-functional team. The Front End Developer resource will have the following responsibilities as it relates to their workstream: 

• Extend the capabilities of an existing web application and management portal using their JavaScript experience 
• Take a design to the web using industry best practices and modern frontend tools 
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js 
• Work with UX designers to translate visual designs into highly-responsive user interface components 
• Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to optimize components for maximum performance

Skills Required 

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements 
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles 
• Experience with newer capabilities of React.js, such as React Hooks and the Context API 
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript 
• Experience interfacing with RESTful APIs 
• Ability to design and develop reusable components 
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of unit testing
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools 
• Experience with micro frontends is a plus

Required Skills 

• React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, Redux, Saga, Jest

IDEALLY YOU WILL ALSO HAVE:

• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics (Graduate Degree always is a plus)
• 5+ years experience in front-end development
• An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment
• A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication
• A natural curiosity for new scripting languages , frameworks and technologies 
• High personal code/development standards (peer testing, unit testing, documentation, etc)
