    CAD/CAM Engineer

    We are searching for an experienced CAD/CAM Engineer at our Sanford, FL facility. Remote work is possible.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Objective: Modify, design and nest CAD/CAM part files for our custom solid edge metal products, as well as production support for quality assurance.

    Responsibilities include:

    · Apply knowledge of products and applications to conform to customer specifications.

    · Manage the flow of information and documents to create comprehensive work orders and reports

    · Utilize CAD/CAM software to create part files for product components.

    · Tool parts and compile code for CNC cutting machines and break presses.

    · Work with Design team members to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.

    · Advanced research and development with product and process improvement teams

    Required Qualifications: Requirements:

    · Process orders on tight timetables in a fast-paced production environment

    · Ability to interpret architectural drawings, templates and coded order entry forms

    · Attention to detail

    · Excellent communication skills

    · Demonstrated technical aptitude and math skills

    · Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent experience a must

    Additional qualifications:

    · Proficiency with CAD/CAM engineering tools

    · Track record of success in a team environment

    · B.S. degree in Engineering preferred.

    · Proficiency with coding for CNC Router tables and Water Jet cutting machines

    · Proficiency with CNC Hydraulic break press work.
