Job Description:

The Arizona Department of Health Services is looking for an experienced software developer / data scientist with the following skillset:

Strong knowledge of SQL and T-SQL and proven experience in database development utilizing SQL Server.

Strong knowledge and experience in development of data processing and analytical tools utilizing Python and pertinent libraries and tools.

Proven knowledge and experience with various data formats such as HL7, XML, JSON, CSV, EDI.

Experience in data modeling, data mapping and data transformation processes.

Deep understanding of process automation and demonstrated experience in implementation of automated processes.

Experience in working in cloud-based environments - AWS, Azure, GCP.

Understanding of data lifecycle management, data quality and data comparison platforms and tools.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer in data processing / data analytics field.

Knowledge and experience in other RDBMS is a plus.

Knowledge and experience in UI development is a plus.

Knowledge and experience in visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required.
