    Your Impact.

    Top-class Product:

    Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor micro-services that deliver critical product features end-to-end.

    Architect solutions that span multiple services and teams, ensuring cohesive behavior and scalability.

    Drive every phase of software delivery: design, implementation, reviews, automated testing (unit/integration/e2e), refactoring, debugging, and documentation.

    Partner with multi-functional teams to guarantee on-time delivery of high-quality, production-ready product.

    Prototyping & Testing:

    Experiment with emergent technologies in a fast-paced environment and promote takeaways across the team.

    Fast prototyping to explore solutions for new and emerging problems.

    Design and implement comprehensive test suites covering happy paths, functional flows, error states, user journeys, and edge cases.

    Monitoring & Optimization:

    Architect and build comprehensive monitoring and alerting to detect anomalies, saturation, and regressions in real time.

    Ensure services are highly available, horizontally scalable, and tuned for high throughput/low latency while optimizing for cost efficiency.

    Security & Governance:

    Embed secure-by-design practices around PII handling, role-based/attribute-based access control, and audit trails for agent actions.

    What you need to succeed.

    BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree with 3+ years of experience working on enterprise software in distributed environment. 1+ years working with data processing systems.

    Strong proficiency in Java or Scala.

    Solid expertise in SQL (MySQL, Snowflake) and experience with at least one NoSQL store (preference: Mongo, Redis).

    Experience working with streaming technologies like Kafka.

    Experience with CI/CD related technologies, including Docker, K8s, Terraform

    Expertise designing and building micro services and RESTful APIs.

    Working knowledge of public cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)

    Working knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and secure data handling.

    Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

    Proven track of problem solving, attention to detail, and results orientation.

    Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership and quality in fast-paced environment.

    Good to have.

    Experience with Spark, Databricks, Airflow.

    Practical experience of tunning Spark jobs.

    Experience building agentic workflows (LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, vector DBs, MCP)

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
