As a Software Engineering Developer with a focus on front-end technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving our Acrobat Web platform.

    What you'll Do

    • Build, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web-based software systems.
    • Work alongside multi-functional teams to successfully implement front-end solutions.
    • Employ your experience with JavaScript, React framework, and TypeScript language to build and improve user interfaces.
    • Ensure flawless integration with back-end services using REST APIs.
    • Employ CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
    • Monitor and optimize application performance using tools like Splunk, NewRelic, and Grafana.

    What you need to succeed

    • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering degree.
    • 3+ years of proven experience in web-based software development.
    • Solid practical experience developing with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
    • Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python is a plus.
    • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular and technical operations.
    • Knowledge of cloud services paradigms and Agile/SCRUM development practices.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Good to have experience in: Python, Prompt engineering techniques, Embeddings for semantic search and context retrieval, Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector database workflows, evaluating and refining AI outputs using structured metrics and feedback.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
