    The Opportunity

    Are you passionate about building high-performance web solutions that drive real business impact? Join our team as a Software Development Engineer and help build innovative AEM Sites Optimizer and LLM Optimizer that transform how digital-first companies approach website improvements. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in high-load web development will directly contribute to customer success.

    What You Will Do

    • Implement core features for our website optimization product, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience.
    • Apply your deep understanding of web optimization techniques to build tools that help customers drive measurable business outcomes.
    • Collaborate with product and design teams to rapidly prototype and validate optimization hypotheses through code.
    • Develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs using the Node.js stack to handle high-traffic website scenarios.
    • Share your technical insights gained from experience in businesses with a focus on digital technologies to guide product direction and prioritize features.
    • Work closely with customers to understand their optimization challenges and translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high code quality standards.
    • Stay up to date with standard methodologies for web performance, optimization techniques, and new technologies in the space.

    What You Need to Succeed

    • BTech/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with demonstrated expertise in full-stack web development.
    • Experience of 3-5 years in developing and refining high-traffic websites for businesses operating in the digital landscape with a direct impact on revenue.
    • Strong expertise in Node.js stack with experience handling high-traffic applications.
    • Demonstrated experience in high-paced environments, delivering quality code efficiently even in challenging situations.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Knowledge of modern frontend technologies (React, Vue.js, or similar) and their performance implications.
    • Understanding of analytics, A/B testing frameworks, and data-driven optimization approaches.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with website conversion optimization (CRO) tools and methodologies.
    • Understanding of standard methodologies for SEO and their technical implementation.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their optimization challenges.
    • Experience with monitoring and observability tools for web applications.
    • Background in working with enterprise clients on website optimization projects.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $113,400 -- $206,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
